**** UPDATE****
We are transitioning away from windshield rock chip repair. Effective 01-03-2023 we will no longer do windshield repair, and will be concentrating on Headlight Restoration as our main business. We will be converting a company name in the near future, But we will still be available to service your veh
If your headlights are cloudy or hazy let us perform our restoration process to bring back the clarity, and looks, but more importantly the safety! There are many comparisons showing how "dim" and poorly lit the roadway is with cloudy or hazy headlights. Making it difficult for you to see, as well as others to be able to see you.
There are many techniques, types of finishes and liquids and "do it yourself" kits and videos out there. They make some pretty bold claims about ease of use, durability and how long the "diy" repair will last.
Let us take a look at your headlights and give you an estimate on a professional, long lasting repair. Truth is, no headlight restoration will last forever. The factory coating should prove that! If the factory coatings are that great, why do they only last a few years ? Most of the "diy" kits only last a few months. Professional finishes vary from about a year up to 3 to 5 years depending on which restoration system used. And other factors like if the car is parked under cover, amount driven, weather etc. and how they are maintained after the service, and other driving conditions. The main damage to your lights comes from the UV rays, weather conditions, and automatic car washes that use brushes, more than anything. And actually the type or make of car plays a role as well. Some manufacturers do a better job of providing a better protected headlight as well as building a better headlight to begin with, than others do. Some do not even apply UV protection!
We use several methods, depending on how badly the headlight lens is damaged. Some can be polished out, but most must be sanded (wet or dry) to remove the old damage, polished, then UV protectant carefully applied. This generally gives the best protection, and longest durability.
Once your headlights have been properly restored, then regular maintenance should be performed. Such as when the car is washed and waxed, the headlight lens should also be polished as well, and that should keep it looking good. We offer a Headlight Maintenance Service also.
The actual restoration/ repair process will take about 1 hour or less.
Once your headlights have been properly restored by us, we offer a headlight maintenance service. We will come back and re-polish your headlights and apply a UV protective sealant to keep them looking good for years to come! *Certain conditions apply, but current cost for this service is $25.00
Restoration versus replacement... the age old question!
First and most important is cost savings. Some replacement headlights can cost several hundred dollars for each light. Some can be as high as $1000 or more per light for some vehicles! There are sensors on some lights on some newer vehicles. This is why the cost gets so high.
Second is many times all you can get is an "aftermarket" replacement headlight housing. Many times a factory original is not available. Not always bad, but often the replacements are not the same durability or quality as the OEM headlight. Then the problem gets worse and the damage comes back again, sooner. Ask me how I know ! I have personal experience with these so called "same quality as OEM" headlight lenses. I used some on my vehicle, and within 3 months they looked worse than my original lights did, before I replace them. This is one of the reasons I began researching quality restoration methods instead of the "easy do-it-yourself" kits.
Third is sometimes having to wait for a part. With the recent supply chain delays, it may take a while to get your part.
Value, generally cars look much better with clean clear headlights! The NADA has said that cars with restored headlights bring 15% to 20% more when the vehicle is sold, and the average time "for sale" is reduced by a significant time frame.

This service is for new, or newer vehicles that have headlights that are in new or really great shape and do not require any repair. Most people take great care of their vehicle by washing and polishing. However many times the headlights are overlooked. They will benefit from having a quality UV protectant/sealant applied to your headlight lenses. This can protect them and hopefully make them last longer before needing any type of restoration or repair. We use a professional quality ceramic coating that will protect and enhance the look of your headlights, while providing another layer of protection that will help your lights last.
This service currently starts at $40.00
We service the area of New Braunfels, Seguin, San Marcos, and the surrounding areas.
We promise to give you excellent service and provide a great client experience !
